This is an island along the Yaeyama island group. There are are several wooden and red tile village settlements along the island as well as white sand. It is possible to tour the area in a "Suigyusha" (a cart pulled by a buffalo along the water areas). There are also water activities on Kondoi beach, the "star sand search" on Kaiji beach which have become popular in recent years, and has become a secret hideout for famous visitors.
This is a bay in the northern part of Ishigaki Island. This is one of the most famous areas of the island due to the sea colors changing based on the tide or reflection of the light, with its default color being emerald green. The coral reefs can be viewed closely behind a glass panel display. This area is also famous for the production of black pearls.
This is a lighthouse on the Hirakubo peninsula in northern Ishigaki island. When looking out from the lighthouse, the spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean can be seen on the right, with the East China Sea on the left. In addition, the two emerald green and cobalt blue layers created by the coral reefs and sea area, the contrast of the sea and the sky is a particularly beautiful scenic spot.
