The car owner was incredibly kind and accommodating. Prior to renting the car, he contacted me the day before to confirm the shuttle service from Hiroshima airport to his store. He provided detailed instructions on how to use the car, taking into consideration that we didn't speak Japanese fluently. He displayed great patience throughout the explanation. The car itself was impeccably clean. One notable convenience was the tarp on the left side, which proved to be very useful. Inside the car, there was a TV, a small sink, a water supply, several Type A USB chargers, and ample lighting. Additionally, the owner thoughtfully provided chairs, a table, a mat, and a lantern. We were pleasantly surprised by the extensive equipment available, as we had already brought our own chairs, table, and sleeping bags. If you're in need of outdoor equipment, it's advisable to inquire with the owner before your visit. Furthermore, the cable for connecting to an external power source was impressively long, making parking the car hassle-free. It is required to return the car with a full tank of gasoline. However, the nearby gas station located at Hiroshima airport is considerably expensive. To save money, it is advisable to search for an alternative gas station during your trip and then refill the tank again just before returning the car at the airport gas station. Note that when we refueled, the fuel gauge did not indicate a full tank. We attempted to add more gasoline, but the gas pump shut off immediately. We tried several times and thus spent additional money. The gas station staff informed us that the fuel gauge might not be functioning correctly. As we made our way back to the car rental shop, the fuel gauge finally displayed a full tank. Upon returning the car, the owner kindly dropped us off at a nearby JR station. For those planning to return to Hiroshima city, opting for the JR train service is a more affordable choice compared to the bus service at Hiroshima airport. We had an absolutely fantastic 2-days trip and were extremely satisfied with both the car and the exceptional service provided by the owner.
